Our friends at Music Thing have introduced us to the extraordinary Godfried-Willem Raes, Belgian composer, author of a “Symphony for Singing Bicycles,” inventor of over 70 pioneering instruments including the Talking Flames and the Pneumaphone, and founder of the Logos Foundation, which explores new musical interfaces, including “wireless gesture control, microwave radar, acceleration sensors, pyrodetectors, lightsensors, myoelectric devices, brainwaves, EEG and ECG.”
