The Multitasking of Tapan Dey
We’ve been trying to track down more information about 30-year-old Tapan Dey of Chandigargh, India, who uses his four limbs to write simultaneously in four languages — Hindi, Assamese, English and Bangla. He also writes with a pen attached to his eyelashes and another tied up in his hair. According to one recent newspaper account (now offline), Dey has duplicated Harry Kahne’s impressive feat of writing with both hands, both feet, and his mouth simultaneously. However, like Kahne, he can only do this in one language at a time.
UPDATE: Another impressive multi-tasker has been discovered. Huang Xiaohu of China is able to write the ten Arabic numerals simultaneously with his ten fingers:
