Structural Considerations of the Business Card Sponge
For those in the Los Angeles area, an event not to be missed:
This Sunday at 8pm, our friends at the Institute for Figuring are sponsoring a lecture at Machine Project by Dr. Jeannine Mosely on the structural considerations of the Level 3 Menger Sponge she created entirely out of business cards. The huge three-dimensional fractal took 9 years to build and cosists of 66,048 business cards folded into 8,000 interlinked sub-cubes.
