Does anyone have any information about this 19th-century contraption, apparently known as the superiorvator?

The contraption looks a lot like the tall bikes used for lighting oil lamps. I cant find photos now but the bikes were for two people, one on the back who pedals and one who sits way up high to light the lamps. On some of these bikes, the person who sits high also steers via a long shaft driving a very small wheel.

For today’s modern man-about-the-woods, you can not go wrong with the Posh-lifter.
Take any pompous ass to new, unprecedented hights.
Now, with wheels!

[...] Who doesn’t love the infamous Kircher Society. Here, they advance the notion of a 19th C. contraption called the Superiorvator. [...]

There is a similar version in Gizmo, the movie. Some hippie guy is riding one around.
